Chamber Choir, conducted by Mrs Stockdale is an audition only choir, and includes around twenty-five members.

The group performs a wide range or repertoire and rehearse twice a week, once after school and on a Friday during a long break-time.

Chamber Choir is a very demanding, but rewarding group and musical highlights during the year include the school Prize Day, the annual Christingle Service and the Spring Concert. The Chamber Choir have performed in Belfast City Hall and the MAC Theatre and several of our members have gained places on the prestigious Ulster Youth Choir.

The choir take part in a workshop with mentors from the Ulster Youth Choir in October and this is an excellent opportunity. We are currently working on Sheldon Curry’s ‘Down to the River to Pray’, as well as Jenkins’ ‘Adiemus.’ Solo opportunities are always available in Chamber Choir and the competition is strong.
