On Friday, 12th April, 21 A2 and AS students and 3 staff set off to London for a weekend packed full of culture. The highlight was going to see an award-winning production of Ibsen's A Doll's House at The Young Vic Theatre. The staging was beautiful and the acting excellent. It really gave the students an insight into the major themes of the play in preparation for their upcoming exam. On a lighter note, we also went to Singin' in the Rain, which didn't disappoint. Other highlights included a tour of The Globe Theatre, a bus tour of the city, visits to The British Museum and The National Gallery and, of course, we managed to squeeze in some shopping! All in all, it was a fantastic weekend and we hope it is the start of a Wellington A Level English tradition.
