A group of Year 10 Wellington College students (Rebecca Dunville, Charlotte Cosgrove, Courtney Annett and Rebecca Cullen) –had the opportunity to attend a talk by author Eoin Colfer at the Aspects Irish Literature Festival held in the Walled Garden at Castle Park, Bangor on Friday the 27th September.

The famed author of the ‘Artemis Fowl’ series invited questions about writing from the audience and launched his exciting new title, ‘WARP: The Reluctant Assassin’, about a Victorian orphan fleeing from a ruthless master through a time transporter to the 21st Century . The girls enjoyed the visit and were advised to remember the golden rule- ‘PAP’- ‘Plan and Prepare’ when contemplating creative writing.
