Lauren Telford’s outstanding performance in one of the A’ level Home Economics modules was recognised at a prestigious presentation ceremony in London.
Lauren attained the highest mark in the CCEA module ‘Nutrition for Optimal Health’ a written exam taken by over 1000 pupils last year in Northern Ireland.
At a ceremony held at the College of Physicians in London both Lauren and her teacher, Mrs Lynne Anderson were presented with certificates and prizes by HRH The Princess Royal.
Lauren’s success follows earlier success at GCSE when Lauren attained 100% in the three modules in GCSE Home Economics. After Lauren completes the final year of her A’ level study in Home Economics at Wellington College Lauren wishes to pursue a career in the area of nutrition and is planning to study for a degree in Dietetics.
We wish Lauren every success for the future.
