The Junior School Read On Programme continues to run every year with more and more success. Years 8, 9 and 10 took a week in December to read as many novels as possible as they tried to raise more money that they have done before for the Cancer Fund for Children. As usual our Wellington College pupils rose to the challenge and raised £4044.26; over £300 more than last year. We are very proud of our Junior School as we continue to be one of the charity’s greatest supporters. A special mention must go the Katie Ellis in 9CW who raised £525 in total! This is the most that any pupil has ever raised for Read On. Well done Katie and to all of our pupils for continuing to work hard for the wider community.
