In Wellington College KS3 students use Kodu, Scratch and HTML coding in their ICT classes to make games, animations and websites.  This week the pupils will be taking part in “The Hour of Code” global initiative which promotes computer programming for at least 1 hour over the next 7 days.

To celebrate Hour of Code Week the ICT Department with the help of Nerve Belfast ran a “Micro Bit” workshop with Year 8 pupils.  Those pupils attending learned a new set of coding skills whilst really enjoying the experience and having fun.
