On Monday 11th February 2013, the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service came to Wellington College to obtain donations from many of our 6th Formers and staff. The College was able to fill of its allocated slots and between 9:30 am and 1:00 pm, some 60 pupils and 4 staff went to the mobile unit to donate blood. This is a great effort by the senior pupils and it is hoped that this will become a regular part of their lives as young adults contributing to society.
