On Tuesday 21st February 2017, Wellington College hosted the annual visit from Kongsbakken Senior High School in Norway. This saw two teachers and 14 pupils come in to see a typical day in the life of a Belfast school.
The Norwegians day began with Year 14 History class with Mr Bond, covering the Berlin Airlift. After break, they attended a class by Dr Agnew that dealt with the political, social and educational differences between Norway and Northern Ireland. They finished with a science lesson by Mr Cardwell, who was able to educate them on magnetism
After heading to the restaurant for lunch, their Wellington College tour ended with a final farewell from Dr Agnew and we look forward to welcoming the next group of Norwegian students in 2018.
