Iain Lewers, a GB Olympian, paid a visit to his old alumni to take part in Friday assembly.  Iain, who left Wellington College 10 years ago, played hockey for Great Britain in this summer’s London Olympics.  Iain who scored GB’s only goal in the Bronze Medal play off match against Australia, spoke of his journey from leaving Wellington to reaching the dizzying heights of the London 2012 Olympics and to offer his advice to pupils on how best to succeed.

Iain then presented a GB players training shirt to the Principal Mr Pitts, before having photographs taken and signing autographs from excited pupils.
