The ICT Department at Wellington College Belfast has worked closely in the past couple of years with Sentinus, a  STEM facilitator for schools.  This year it is great to see leadership programmes for girls starting in sixth form at WCB.

Last term, Sentinus offered a paid IT bursary placement for promising programmers.  Courtney Annett, year 14 won an award from Sentinus on exceptional achievement during a paid IT programming placement during the summer.  She accepted her award at Queens with Mrs Cochrane, VP, in the Whitla Hall on Tuesday 3rd October.

Both Mr O'Hare & Mr Lyttle in the ICT Dept. are very proud of Courtney's achievements.  Courtney hopes to go to Queens University next year, to study Computer Science.  Well done Courtney!
