The Wellington College Chamber Choir performed to a packed Ulster Hall at the prestigious Radio Ulster School Choir of the Year Final on Sunday 30th April. Having gone through two highly competitive rounds prior to the final,  they were one of three senior choirs that successfully made it through, and performed alongside Regent House Grammar School, Newtownards and Carrickfergus Grammar School.

The standard of singing was exceptionally high and Wellington College were delighted to achieve second runners up, with Regent House winning the overall title.

Conductor Mrs Stockdale, accompanist Mrs Hodgins and the twenty-two choir members were a credit to the school and the pupils had a truly memorable experience in this venue, receiving excellent comments from the four judges. Thank you to all who supported the Chamber Choir throughout the competition!
