For the third year in a row, Wellington participated in the Belfast City Marathon on Monday 6th May. This year we had 24 relay teams, 160 participants in the Fun Run and one Year 14 pupil who completed the entire race (well done, Michael Gilmore!). All in all, over 280 pupils and staff were involved, which is a great reflection on the community spirit of our school. It was all in memory of Sarah Booth, one of our pupils who tragically passed away in June 2010. We hope to raise £10,000 this year for CRY, a charity which means so much to Sarah’s family. Well done again to all who gave up their time to get involved!
