Endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals and the School Library Association this National award celebrates the commitment and innovation offered to school libraries by student librarians. It recognises the interpersonal, administrative and book promotional skills they acquire as well as their contribution to the wider school community.

She has participated in the Kids’ Lit Quiz as both contestant and much appreciated mentor, helped younger pupils, contributed to the organisation of a multitude of library events and shadowed the Carnegie Medal and Northern Ireland Book Awards.
