The South African charity works with disadvantaged young people from the townships in George.  It  focuses on developing their leadership skills through the medium of sport.  The boys had lunch at the College, attended an RE class in the school where they shared stories with our pupils.  The boys then played our senior football team on a lovely sunny afternoon at Cherryvale.  The standard of football was very impressive with the South Africans winning 3-0.

They are over on a 3 week tour and have won all eight of their games so far.

Thanks to all pupils who contributed through our non-uniform day to help fund the boys tour of Northern Ireland and to past pupil Andrew Scott who works for the charity.
