Year 8 held a non-uniform day in October to raise money for Cancer Research at Queens University. This, alongside the charity contributions from each form class, amounted to £594. We were delighted that Paul Mullan from the lab at Queens came in to collect the cheque and to explain where the money would be used. He was joined by Martin Doherty who has pledged to raise £10,000 for the charity, after being treated for cancer himself earlier this year.
