Year 13 visit the Annual UCAS Conference
Year 13 pupils continued with their varied and thorough careers programme with a visit to the annual UCAS Conference at the Eikon Centre outside Lisburn.
Year 14 Talks Programme 2019-20 – ISIC Ireland
The Year 14 Talks programme continued on Friday 28th February 2020 with a presentation by ISIC Ireland on the ISIC Card for pupils which gets student discounts across many stores and outlets.

Year 10 STEM Careers Event hosted by Almac at W5
On Friday a group of 50 Year 10 students attended a STEM event hosted by Almac at W5. The pupils had a fantastic time carrying out experiments and learning about opportunities within this key area of employment. Many thanks to Almac for hosting the event and to Mr O’Hara for organising it.
6th form Art students visit True Colours exhibition
6th form Art & Design students visited the True Colours exhibition in the Ulster Museum, Belfast. Behind them is past pupil Emily Mathieson’s GCSE project which was selected for the exhibition.

“Tasty Careers” Year 10 Talk
During Year 10 Careers week pupils in Home Economics had the chance to hear about Careers in the Agri-Food industry when they had a talk from ‘Tasty Careers’. The speaker, Geoff Lamb, highlighted the wide range of careers that are possible in this significant industry in NI.

Conan Meehan from the University of Ulster came into Wellington to speak with Year 13 about the many course and life opportunities available within Ulster.
