Year 14 Talks Programme 2019-20 – ISIC Ireland

The Year 14 Talks programme continued on Friday 28th February 2020 with a presentation by ISIC Ireland on the ISIC Card for pupils which gets student discounts across many stores and outlets.

Year 10 STEM Careers Event hosted by Almac at W5

On Friday a group of 50 Year 10 students attended a STEM event hosted by Almac at W5. The pupils had a fantastic time carrying out experiments and learning about opportunities within this key area of employment. Many thanks to Almac for hosting the event and to Mr O’Hara for organising it.

During Year 10 Careers week pupils in Home Economics had the chance to hear about Careers in the Agri-Food industry when they had a talk from ‘Tasty Careers’. The speaker, Geoff Lamb, highlighted the wide range of careers that are possible in this significant industry in NI.
