COP29 Climate Simulation Event
Schools from across Northern Ireland met at Belfast City Hall for the annual COP29 climate simulation event organised by British Council. WCB Year 14 Geographers Jack and Edman made excellent contributions to negotiations by playing the role of the USA in these climate change talks.
UK Senior Maths Challenge

World Smile Day 2024
WCB celebrated World Smile Day on Friday 4th October in which everyone was encouraged to do one small act of kindness and help one person smile. It was great seeing so many people get involved with the Smiley Frame and the Smile Day activities.

Year 12 Geography Fieldwork
Year 12 have spent the last two days practising their fieldwork techniques in the Crawfordsburn River. Students worked with diligence in their groups to collect primary data on key characteristics along the river profile. This data will be required for their Unit 3 Fieldwork exam next Summer.
