Wellington enters pupils into the Annual Inter-Schools Show Jumping League held at Meadows Equestrian Centre Lurgan, and other local school show jumping competitions.
You need to own your own pony and have access to transport to and from the events.

2019 – 2020
Well done to Charlotte riding ‘Dude’ and Maia riding ‘Lily’ who represented Wellington in the Ulster Schools’ Derby on Thursday 20th June 2019.
This is an Annual charity competition organised by Glenlola Collegiate and hosted by Gransha Equestrian.
2018 – 2019
Charlotte and her horse Dude competed in the Northern Ireland TRI Inter-Schools Show Jumping Novice Individual (85cm) Competition. This took place over six different legs from September to December.
Charlotte finished up as 14th individual out of 124 competitors. This is a fantastic achievement! We commend Charlotte’s commitment and effort in taking part in this league. Well done!
2017 – 2018
Well done to Charlotte McGladery (Year 8) and Erin Carson (Year 12) who competed in the Novice Individual competition at the Meadows Equestrian Centre Lurgan.
2015 – 2016
This year we had two pupils, Erin Carson (year 11) and Ben Johnston (year 10) who competed in the 5 legs of the league. They both did really well producing some lovely clear rounds. Erin finished in 11th position from over 90 ponies.
2014 – 2015
Sapphira Murphy (14), Catherine Stewart (11) and Molly McCullough (11) who competed in the Gransha Inter-Schools Show Jumping League on Saturday 20th September 2014. Molly McCulough was placed as first individual class in the novice class of 80cm.
2013 – 2014
Sapphira Murphy competed in the Inter Schools Showjumping League on her horse ‘Grace’ at the Meadows Equestrian Centre, on Sat 28th September 2013.
