On Tuesday 8th March 2022, members of the Wellington College School Council plus Mr McFarland went to The MAC Centre in Belfast to take part in a conference on ‘Children and Young People Conference Future Peacebuilders – My Future of NI’. This was part of the Belfast City Council PEAVE IV Programme. The day provided an opportunity for our pupils to play an essential role in the debate on sustaining peace, strengthening social cohesion and preventing conflict. All the pupils enjoyed the visit and will bring many new ideas and insights back to our School Council and beyond.
