Ryan left WCB in 2007
Whilst at school Ryan represented Glentoran football club at senior level. He made 74 appearances for the Glens, scoring two goals. One of those was the winning goal in the 2008 County Antrim Shield final.
He also represented Northern Ireland at U-18 and U-19 level and currently plays for Ballymena United.
