Stephen Scullion is a past pupil of Wellington College Belfast Sport – Athletics Stephen left WCB in 2007
Stephen competed for North Belfast Harriers was an Irish schools Steeplechase Champion and represented the Ireland U-20 cross country team in the Netherlands whilst at school.
In 2010 Stephen has taken the silver medal at the AAA’s 10k road championships in Bristol with an impressive clocking of 29.14s. He has run 3mins 45s for 1500m and was selected for Ireland in the European Cup Team competition in Budapest that summer.
Stephen qualified for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi however illness prevented him from taking part. He represented team Ireland at the 2013 European indoor championships in Gothenberg.
In 2018 he finished 12th in the London marathon running 2hrs 15min 55s, and he also ran for Ireland at the World half marathon championships in Valencia in 2018.
