On 29th April 2026, 60 pupils from year 8 and year 9 took part in the UK Mathematics Trust Junior Mathematics Challenge. The UKMT Junior Mathematical Challenge is a 60-minute, 25-question multiple-choice competition for across the UK and some take part from further afield. It promotes problem-solving, mathematical reasoning, and precision rather than just curriculum knowledge. The top 50% of participants receive either gold (top 8 or 9%), silver(16 or 17%), or bronze (25%) certificates.
Well done to all our participants!
