The 4th annual Wellington College Bake Off took place on Tuesday 22nd June with the eight finalists competing for ‘Wellington’s Best Amateur Baker’ title. Their finished cakes were judged by Claire Andrew from Andrew Ingredients, who sponsored the event, Finbar Haughey, also from Andrews ingredients, professional chef Paula McIntyre and Caitriona Lennox from Springboard UK.
The judges were highly impressed with the standard of baking, creativity and presentation of the finished cakes and we are delighted to announce the final results as follows:
3rd Place – receiving a £20 voucher and Silver House Points Oskar P (Circle Surprise)
2nd Place – receiving a £50 voucher and Gold House Points Grace S (Ice Cream Sundae)
1st Place – receiving a £100 voucher and Platinum House Points Claire M (Flower Tree)
