Three of our year 10 pupils, Maxwell, Jackson and Jack were invited to showcase their project on frequency of sound, entitled ‘Why does my hot chocolate sing?’ at the BT Young Scientist show at the RDS in Dublin. Accompanied by Mr Cardwell, Senior Leader, they heard from the Irish President, Michael D. Higgins, were interviewed by RTE and Radio Ulster, and enjoyed sharing their project findings with the judges and other visitors.
We are very proud of the boys and their excellent research findings – which did involve consuming large amounts of hot chocolate!
