It is with great sadness that we note the passing of Wilma Fee, a long serving member and past Chair of the Board of Governors of Wellington College Belfast.
Wilma was a great advocate for students, believing in education as a means of social mobility and societal change. She wanted the best for every young person, regardless of their social or economic background. From her professional role at Queen’s University Belfast, Wilma brought to Wellington a depth of knowledge of academia, pathways into work and employment, and the economic landscape in Northern Ireland and beyond. It brought Wilma great pleasure to see our students succeed, and her passion for personal excellence left a deep impression on many.
The sympathies, thoughts and prayers of the Wellington College community are extended to Wilma’s husband and wider family.
