Wellington College is part of the South Belfast Area Learning Community.
SBALC is one of 29 Area Learning Communities across Northern Ireland. The community is made up of 11 Post Primary schools, 2 of which are special schools and Belfast Metropolitan College.
The member schools and BMC work in partnership to implement a curriculum that will meet the needs of pupils. The community aims to provide 14-16 and post 16 students with access to a wider choice of academic, applied and vocational courses.
Collaboration within the SBALC provides students with access to a curriculum that will meet their needs while at the same time contributing to the needs of the Northern Ireland economy.
