The 23rd of October is Mole day – Mole Day commemorates Avogadro’s Number (6.02 x 1023), which is a basic unit of measurement in Chemistry.
We celebrated Mole Day by having a baking competition between the A level Chemistry classes. There were lots of amazing entries, most of whom decided to take the ‘mole’ theme literally! However, there could only be one winner and that was Sophie in year 13 with her amazing Mole-opoloy cake.
